1. Introduction

When you visit and use the BeBuNet website, depending on the type of use, various items of information regarding your PC system, your personal details and your usage will be transmitted to grieblmedia, this includes personal data. Such information is necessary, i.e. to enable grieblmedia to its contractual performance(i.e. to be able so sent invoices), to provide contractual services (i.e. to organize a tender procedure and to supply your data to potential bidders or the contractor, or to deliver messages to the correct addressee) or will be used to improve our services (i.e. by using statistics about the used browsersoftware and desktop resolutions). Essentially we collect personal data only, if this is necessary to use our services and to act accordant to the contract, or if you give your explicit consent to the collection of such data.

2. Personal data

For the purposes of this policy Personal data is information about a living individual who can be identified from that data and any other data in the possession of, or likely came into the possession of, the data controller, which in this case is us. This includes information like name, address or phone number. Not personal data is such data, which does not allow identifying a person like age or profession.

3. Collected data, if you don´t register, but simply surf to the website.

If you visit the BeBuNet website without prior registration or logging-in, we only gather the information necessary to allow you to open and optimize the web pages you have called up on your computer, such information is i.e. the type of browser you are using, your IP-address, the name and URL of the file requested and date and time. Please read section 6 (Cookies). These allow identification, but are stored only for as long as we need them for technical purposes or for a special reason, e.g. to provide evidence of improper or illicit use or as required by law. Personal data will not be collected in such a case.

4. Collection of data upon registration and the provision of services.

If you register for the BeBuNet, various data will be collected, which is necessary to provide the services as accordant to the contract, like your name, address and information about your company. Such data will be recorded at grieblmedia. If you use the functions of the BeBuNet-Portal, you may publish additional data, like your participation and details of tender procedures, your company presentation and the messages you wrote to other users and received from other users within the BeBuNet-Portal. Such data will not be used by grieblmedia – unless this data is necessary for payment and/or the provision of services. grieblmedia will use the collected personal data only for itself and only, as far this is necessary to provide the services of BeBuNet and to act accordant to the contract or other wisely allowed by law. Personal data shall be only transmitted to third parties, as this is necessary to provide the services of the BeBuNet-Portal and to act accordant to the contract, i.e. to provide payment-options – offered by third parties, or to deliver a invoice or goods by a third company offering logistic services.

5. Personal data that the user publishes by himself.

This internet portal for the beverage industry is based upon the communication, networking and the exchange of ideas, projects and the closing of contracts between the users. It is solely the user’s decision which personal data he wants to publish or delete within the usage of the services of the BeBuNet-Portal.

6. Cookies

A cookie is a text file which a website or a web server sends to your browser to store on your system. It recognizes your PC system, but not you personally. The BeBuNet uses session cookies to recognize Users who have logged-in previously when they move around on the website. The only information stored in these cookies is that which enables us to detect whether your PC system is logged-in to BeBuNet, and with which user name. This saves you from having to enter your log-in data repeatedly when using BeBuNet. Additional statistical data could be collected by so called “tracking cookies” by third parties (i.e. Google-Analytics). You can adjust your browser to tell you in advance when you receive a cookie, so that you can block the cookie if you want to. You can also completely block cookies via your browser.

7. Consent / Withdrawal of consent

The usage of your data, further to the usage as described in the aforesaid sections shall be possible, if you explicitly consent to such a usage – whereas this privacy statement shall not be considered such a consent. Possible is – upon consent, the usage of personal date for our own marketing purposes of grieblmedia, i.e. for the provision of information in newsletter-emails, coupons, advertisement, for invitations to certain events or to take steps to improve the quality of our services, like customer satisfaction surveys and surveys for product development. During the registration process, you have the opportunity to give us such consent. You can withdraw the consent granted above for processing your data at any time with future effect by written notice to grieblmedia GmbH, Am Markt 2, 77855 Achern, Germany. In addition you have a right, free of charge, to information about, correction or blocking of, and if appropriate deletion of, your stored data. Insofar as you voluntarily supplied the data and it is no longer needed to carry out Quotation Procedures or to implement the Membership Agreement or anything else, you can delete it yourself via your User’s account. Insofar as it concerns personal data, necessary for the provision of the mutual contractual duties, such data may be only deleted, if the contract is terminated.

8. Conflict between German and English Version of this Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement has been drafted in German and in English. For purposes of interpretation of this Privacy Statement and in case of any possible conflict between German and English text the German version shall be decisive and shall prevail.
